Creative Thinking and Writing: For parents/teachers/students

Young Author School Visits:  Full day school visits may include 2-large group
presentations, small group discussions or writing workshops, a *Press Conference
with kids, Book Sale/Autograph Sessions and/or any combination of the above.

*PRESS CONFERENCE: Each grade/classroom selects two reporters who take
questions from their classmates to a meeting with Sandra Warren.

Book Sale/Autograph Session:
Books available through Arlie Enterprises discounted for schools

K-3 - (approximately 35 min.) Interactive reading of the book Arlie the Alligator
followed by an illustration session in which children pretend to illustrate while
listening to the Arlie the Alligator audio tape or CD.

Grades 4-6+ -(45 min.-1 hour) In-depth presentation of life as an author
and/or how to become an author. May include a song writing exercise.

Grades 7-12-Adult - (45 min. -3-hours) How to get published. Discusses the
process of taking an idea from manuscript form to book.
